The Phoenix Award is presented to those who helped save a life

using an AED unit.

Did you know......

In the early days of firefighting, before there were air tanks, Firefighters

would grow long beards to help them breathe in heavy smoke. They would dip

their whiskers in a pail of water, clinch the wet beard between their

teeth, and then breathe using the wet beard as a filter.
