Travis County Emergency Services District #2

An Important Message From The Fire Chief

Sales Tax Election

During the February 13, 2014 Board of Commissioners meeting, by unanimous vote, the Board agreed to call a sales tax election. The proposed increase in sales tax, which is a consumer tax not a property tax, could be used to begin funding a much needed higher level of emergency medical care.  District voters eligible for this initiative will be asked whether they want to allocate ½ cent of available local sales tax not currently being used by any other entity to the Travis County Emergency Services District No. 2.  Attend an informational presentation or click here to learn more.
