Notice is hereby given that a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners of Travis County Emergency Services District Number Two will be held on Monday, August 9, 2004 at 6:00 p.m. at the Travis County Emergency Services District Number Two Headquarters, located at 203 East Pecan Street, Pflugerville, Texas for the following purposes:
1. Call meeting to order;
2. Public Comment: In accordance with the Texas Attorney General’s opinion, any public comment that is made on an item that is not on the published final agenda will only be heard by the Board of Commissioners. No formal action, discussion, deliberation, nor comment will be made by the Board of Commissioners;
OATH OF OFFICE
3. Approve and accept appointment and oath of office for Commissioner Brian Thompto;
4. Discuss and consider taking action regarding re-election of officers for the Board;
CONSENT ITEMS
5. Discuss and consider taking action regarding approval of meeting minutes from July 8, 2004 Regular Meeting;
REPORTS
6. Commissioners’ Reports, including responses to inquiries;
7. Receive report from Treasurer and District’s Bookkeeper and consider taking related action, including:
(a) approval of monthly bills and invoices;
(b) approval of monthly financial report;
8. Receive report from District’s Fire Chief and consider taking related action;
9. Receive report from District’s Attorney and consider taking related action;
10. Receive report from Pflugerville Volunteer Fire Department and consider taking related action;
11. Receive report from EMS Advisory Board and consider taking action on related items including discussion of Austin/Travis County EMS issues;
DISCUSSION/ACTION ITEMS
12. Discuss and consider request for appeal of permit fees for project located on Long Vista Drive;
13. Discuss and consider approval of Resolution Amending Authorized Representatives for Texpool;
14. Discuss and consider taking action regarding the designation of Chief Moellenberg to negotiate, on behalf of the District, the resolution of a multi-agency, incident management agreement;
15. Discuss and consider taking action regarding settlement offer from Lonestar Gas Maintenance resulting from a chlorine leak in June 2002;
16. Discuss and consider taking action regarding resolution of bill relative to Incident #04-018734 - Pallet Farm Fire;
16. Discuss and consider taking action regarding agreement with ACC for facilities;
17. Discuss and consider planned Paramutual Track in Pflugerville;
18. Discuss and consider approval of Resolution Designating Surplus Property;
19. Discuss and consider approval of revisions to FY 2004 Budget;
20. Such other matters that may come before the Board of Commissioners;
