Pflugerville Fire Department Welcomes
Newest Member to Central Station
After four months of hard work this table has become
the newest member of the family. It is built to
stand the test of time and be there for daily life
in the fire station. The boys of Central would
like to thank Lt. Grady and FireFighter McGrew
for the countless hours they have put in to making
this table a reality. |

Newest Lieutenant
TCESD
#2 is pleased to announce the promotion of Tory Thompson
to the position of Lieutenant. Lt. Thompson joined
the TCESD #2 six years ago as a firefighter and advanced
quickly to Apparatus Specialist. After competing
one
of the most intensive testing cycles TCESD#2 has
ever had, Lt. Thompson came out on top. Lt. Thompson’s
promotion
will become effective Sept. 11th.
In this new position Lt. Thompson will be responsible
for the health and safety of his crew. Lieutenants have
the responsibility to train individuals and maintain
equipment and apparatus to the highest standards TCESD#2
has become recognized for within the district. Lt. Thompson
will be a frontline supervisor on all calls he and his
crew attend. TCESD#2 believes that Lt. Thompson will
continue to perform his duties with the utmost integrity,
becoming a greater asset to the department.
Please join us in congratulating Tory Thompson on his
promotion and in wishing him continued success at the
Travis County Emergency Service District #2.
